Well most of you know by now that I love kicking my own ass when it comes to art
 For that reason, here's another comparison, from 2006 to 2009 XDI'm very happy with how things turned out. Adrian changed a lot since I first started roleplaying him. He was still a bit like a child at first but he soon grew calmer and more weary of his surroundings.Proportions are also far better here lol Dunno what was up with the legs in the 2006 version o_O I also changed Killy's position, mainly with the hands (beast hand being up instead of... err... hovering...) and I added him holding his now signature silver dagger. (It's an actual dagger called The Scorpion). Nathan (in the background) also looks FAR better now then when I drew him in 2006 lol He doesn't look like he's about to deflate and die of hunger or something. >_> Anyways, I'm very happy with the newer piece. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. ROFL!!! Now I can't stop laughing everytime I see that older pic! lol!
But wow! What a difference! When you told me you were redoing this pic I thought "Why? It's not that old." I can't believe it was 3 years ago! My goodness how time flies!
Nathan looks soooooooo much better in this pic, and yeah, proportions have improved drasticaly! I really need to do one of these myself!

Your new techniques aside, the real changes are subtle - shows how a shift in posture or gaze makes all the difference.
Adrian does look more natural here and yes weary; Killy's wolfhand-up now looks significant. And this is a more intense Nathan, agreed that earlier version he looks about to faint~!
I'm always a little adamant about changing postures but I realized Killy grew to be fierce, wrathful, if not a little demented in the end, and yet he's still a child whose nothing short of terrified. So I tried to show more aggressive but also a sense of fear to him.
As for Adrian, he started out as a happy-go-lucky type of guy at first - smug and always smiling. He turned out to be the complete opposite lol
