A parody I had the idea to do over the week-end.
I don't like GTA, never did, don't think I ever will. My boyfriend, on the other hand, adores it. lol I'll admit to liking the artwork though, especially that of GTA 4. That piece of the girl with the lollipop was interesting enough. On the other hand, I'm a HUGE fan of Battlestar Galactica. I'm very sad to have to wait until 2009 to get the rest of the 4th season  Also, I find we haven't seen much of Head Caprica Six during the fourth season. It kinda feels like she was forgotten... when she was a major part of the last 3 seasons. Seeing the GTA 4 poster of that girl with the lollipop, and going through BSG fansites... it kinda clicked. I wanted to do a parody of GTA with BSG. So you have Caprica Six licking the Arrow of Apollo (instead of the lollipop) with the fleet having found Earth in the background. Bad joke I guess, but what the hell, right? lol I'll be very honest though... I like the background so much (especially the fleet) that I'm a little sad I ended up making a parody out of it >_> Well at least now I know I can draw the Galactica... as long as it's far enough  hahahaAlso, I think it's quite obvious I used heavy references for this piece: Caprica Six's position (which is identical to lollipop girl from GTA, minus the sixth finger  ) and for the ships (multiple screeshots) ... because I wouldn't have remembered their designs otherwise. I tried to make her look as close to Tricia Helfer as I could... but either I uncountiously base myself off Tricia to draw Alice, or I can't get out of Alice's mold. Aw well! I obviously had some help from a brush for the stars... but like a lot of my brushes, I can't remember where I got it and cannot seem to find it anymore. If you figure out the owner SEND ME A NOTE and I'll add him/her right away to the description and inform the owner I used the brushes. Yeah I know... I can`t believe we have to wait so long.
But you know, we`re not that bad. My father only speaks french so he watches the french dubs... and they didn`t even translate the 3rd season yet. It makes me very sad because I want to talk SO much about season 3 and 4 with him and I can`t because he`ll get all the spoilers
