Here's a little something I cooked up quickly today at work and colored at home for as a present. She's been feeling really down lately and I was hoping to give her a little smile to help her go through the tough times better.
I've drawn Nikki before, in a request for . It was the kiriban if I remember right. She was casting a water spell in the picture, so I continued with the same type of spell. It's got a bit of a Mike Turner's Fathom feel to it, which is what I wanted. I also realize it's not perfect, but since it's a gift, I'd like to keep the bad critics to a minimum. Were it a pic for me, that would be different. So please respect that ^^ Thank you.
Well I hope you like it hun! I hope you feel better soon
At the same time, I took the time to do some colors for me before going back to the big coloring gig ^^ I'll get back to working on it strongly starting tomm, and I'm kinda going with the critics I got on my colors with this.
Champions of Hearts and all its concepts and characters are (c) N.M Parrish and M.S. Grodes
Oh, I put this under fanart since it's not my character here ^^

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
