I was asked to draw Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4 and Claudia Wolf from Silent Hill 3 together in an intimate moment. She and some friends (and fans of the games of course) managed to actually come up with some accurate and fun proof about how Walter and Claudia are lovers, and she wanted me to represent that.
And I hope I managed what she asked for. I know it took me a while (without counting the festival and work) but it's mainly because I restarted the picture. I was done with the inking but decided to start over because there was not enough movement and ambience between them both. The original was rather flat, and this one has more depth.
I also went for something a little different, by coloring the lineart, and mostly playing with Claudia's hair, which I wanted very bright compared to the rest of the picture. (note to Necrosylph: if you'd rather have the lineart fully black, I can fix that without a problem ). I like the result, as it's different. ^^
Also, I was glad to work on some new Silent Hill art. It's been so long I also cropped the image longer, mainly because it looked more interesting, but also because if needed, the Necrosylph can use it as a wallpaper of sort when I send her the 300dpi version through e-mail
Well I hope you like it!

What do you think about the way I did the hair this time? I think it'll work fine with light hair or black hair, but I wonder if it would look as good with any other colors...

I'm terrible at other colour linework. Black always seems to work best for me... :S I just can't get it to look natural. On the other hand, I think you have made the hair look very good with the light linework! It gives it a different feel, more realistic.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
